Major Seminars
CWA offers major 3-4 day seminars throughout the year. These feature nationally known carvers who are also excellent teachers. Classes are typically limited in size and early sign up is advised.
LITTLE PEOPLE CARVING CLASS with SHARON ELLIOTT
This class was held November 18-19., from 9-5 at Shirley’s Shop. there were 11 participants who enjoyed the class. They appreciated Sharon’s approach and were happy to have a product (at various stages of completion) at the end of the class.
CWA also offers Saturday one day Mini Seminars conducted by club members with advanced skills in a variety of subjects, e.g., tool sharpening, wood painting, chip carving, Santas, Little People, etc. Mini Seminar attendance is not usually limited.
The 2023 CWA Woodcarving and Gourd Competition and Show was held at the Sacramento Scottish Rite Temple on May 20 and 21, 2023.
Christmas Party CWA holds an annual Christmas party for our members and families.
