There are many benefits of membership in the Capital Woodcarvers Association in Sacramento.

Our regular meetings are held at Woodcraft
On the second Wednesday of the month we meet for a short business meeting and a speaker on some aspect of wood carving.
On the fourth Wednesday we have a carving session where members can share their work and get help from fellow club members.

There are many opportunities for members to contribute to the club by volunteering for various club activities or being willing to stand for an officer position.

The Annual Show show is an opportunity to show case our work and enter a judged competition. The participation of gourd artists provides expanded discussion of carving, painting and wood burning techniques
There are other social activities like our Christmas party give us the opportunity to enjoy the company of other club members.
Membership also entitles each member to receive our club newsletter, “The Sacramento Shavins,” which is emailed to club members each month.
CWA dues are $25.00 per year for one person and $30.00 per year for a family membership. Join our club today. Please download, print and mail this CWA Membership Application with a check to the treasurer shown on the application.
